Evaluations

Dr. Powell provides psychological evaluations and assessment/testing for children, adolescents, college students, and adults.  

​

The evaluation process is designed to assist in psychological and medical intervention diagnosis and treatment planning.

 

All evaluation results will be communicated to the patient as well as to the referring physician including the DSM-5 diagnoses and psychological and medical treatment recommendations.

Psychological Evaluations

  • Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Depression, Anxiety and Bipolar Disorder

  • Behavior Disorders

  • Disability Documentation for College/Standardized Testing Accommodations

  • Pre-Surgical Psychological Clearance

Treatment Planning
​

After the initial evaluation and any necessary assessment/testing, Dr. Powell will communicate the diagnosis and recommended treatment goals that will aid the patient in overcoming any behavioral health issues.  This may include, psychotherapy, referral to psychiatrist, medication management through primary care physician, etc.
