Dr. Powell’s family includes his wife, Katherine, and their 3 children.  He enjoys spending time with his family, baseball and skiing.  Dr. Powell has been actively involved in the Brazos Valley since moving to the area in 1996.  He has served as a Cub Scout leader, youth baseball and football coach, and volunteered his time and services to CSISD and the College Station EXIT Teen Center.  He is a member of Grace Bible Church in College Station where he has taught youth Sunday school and is a member of the Family Ministry Board.
